Municipal Court is held on a set schedule each month in the Municipal Court located at 301 Veterans Memorial Boulevard

A City Solicitor will be available to discuss your case with you on your court date prior to your appearance before the judge.

You may call the Court office at 770-781-2002 to find out the bond amount for your citation. Please allow 72 hours from the time you receive the citation for processing.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.

We accept cash, credit cards, (Master Card and Visa only), and money orders for payment.

Before coming to court be sure to know how to dress, proper etiquette, what you cannot bring, security requirements and other court rules.

Please park in public parking areas only. Do not park in the Police parking spaces or on the grass; Your vehicle will be towed.

**Mandatory Court Appearance Charges**

– DUI / Suspended Driver’s License / Driving Without Insurance / Speeding in Excess of 24 MPH over the Limit /Aggressive Driving / Laying Drags / Leaving the Scene of an Accident / Passing a School Bus / Commercial Vehicle Littering / Accident Caused by Unsecured Load/  Shoplifting / Underage Drinking / Underage Possession of Alcohol /– Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor / Possession of Drugs / Animal Cruelty / Animal Attacks on Humans /Attempting to Elude Police / Public Indecency

All other tickets may be paid in advance, but must be paid in person by 4:00 pm the day of your assigned court date or on-line by midnight the day before the assigned court date. Tickets can be paid by telephone prior to the day of your court date by calling the number above.

If your ticket allows advance payment and you wish to pay it in person, the location to pay it is 301 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Cumming, GA, 30040. The office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday.

Inside the front door is a reception area and the receptionist will assist you.
